A Delaware County man has been arrested and charged for sexually abusing a child while he worked as a Boy Scout troop leader and as a teacher at a boarding school, officials said. Keith Steininger, 68, worked as a teacher at Girard College for 41 years before retiring in July of 2022. While at Girard College, he served as a troop leader for the school's Boy Scout troop. Glenfield Man Arrested for Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child

On February 15, 2024, State Police in Lowville arrested 24-year-old Dylan C. Hoch Sr. of Glenfield, NY for Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child (A-2 felony) and Endangering The Welfare of a Child (A-misdemeanor). Mr. Hoch is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse on 10 occasions over the course of two years, with a female child, who was between the ages of 10 and 12 at the time of the incidents. Hoch was arraigned in Lewis County CAP court and remanded to the Lewis County Public Safety Building in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
